U2 fans disappointed the group pulled out of the Glastonbury festival should think about getting tickets for 2011. A spokesperson for the UK festival has revealed that the Irish group "could well be back next year".
U2 had been due to headline the Friday night at the festival but pulled out after Bono had to undergo emergency back surgery.
Sources say a 2011 date was agreed in principle in a call Bono made to Glastonbury organiser Michael Eavis last month.
Glastonbury organisers would only hint at a 2011 U2 date.
"We were very disappointed they couldn't perform. They have never played here but they could well be back next year."
